Televisions nowadays are pretty big; large enough for FIFA games and Netflix. However, Samsung has just unveiled something so amazing that everyone will want it in their living room or basement home cinema, it’s ‘The Wall’.

It’s no wonder they named It like that, for it is a 219-inch TV that’s as large as a wall. Who wouldn’t want a TV that big? It’s so big that it can be typically a home cinema.

Some might think the large display would compromise image quality, but according to AnandTech it’s better than 4K thanks to Micro LEDs.

A statement from Samsung says: “These transformative TV displays are made up of individual modules of self-emissive Micro LEDs, featuring millions of inorganic red, green and blue microscopic LED chips that emit their own light to produce brilliant colors on screen.”

The Wall 2019 also have deep personalization features, with modular panels that users can position in any size or shape to meet their needs.

“These next-generation modular Micro LED displays harness self-emitting technology to create elegant, efficient and powerful screens that are liberated from the limitations of existing technologies.”

This is the 2nd version of the massive television, as the South Korean company released The Wall 1.0 past year at the CES conference, which was 146-inch.

But if the 219 or 146 inches are too big for your actual walls then it’s fine, at the same expo Samsung unveiled a TV that’s ‘just’ 75-inches, and dubbed it ’The Window’.

There’s no word yet about the price of The Wall 2.0 or The Wall 1.0, however, we expect it will be as expensive as it is big.

Huge screens are a trend of the future, we predict that we all will have gigantic screens in our living rooms by 2025. The small 90s and 2000s TV will be a memory and future generations will not imagine the idea of watching something on a TV so tiny.
